We hit the lucky seven at UEPS!
This year, the number seven turned out to be more than lucky for the SIVO team. We’re coming back from this year’s UEPS awards with seven accolades for campaigns created together with IKEA, SIVO, and BEO Shopping Center.
The campaign that brought us the most awards was “The Mystery kitchen” for IKEA, which won three gold awards in the categories Direct marketing, Customer relations, and Internet elements and applications. Through an interactive concept and communication that invited customers to solve kitchen “riddles”, the campaign showed how gamification can turn a product into an engaging experience. And the results proved that, with the right solutions, finding your way around an IKEA kitchen can actually become a game.
The “Who is Jasna Stokić?” campaign by the SIVO team won a silver recognition for Creative use of media, as well as two bronze awards in the Brand PR and Low-budget campaign categories. One simple question and a familiar face from countless commercials turned into an internet mystery that organically sparked comments and media attention. The campaign opened up the topic of generic advertising communication and repetitive industry patterns, while Jasna Stokić became a symbol of all those “familiar strangers” we see in ads every day, but rarely truly notice.
A bronze award also went to the campaign “It’s not all of Belgrade, but it’s part of it” for BEO Shopping Center in the Direct marketing category. Through local insights and small urban truths, the campaign showed how a place can become part of people’s everyday routines, habits, and neighborhoods.
Thank you to the jury, and congratulations to all colleagues, partners, and clients we had the chance to work with on these projects.
